The Constitution

The United States Constitution

On September 17th, 1787 the Constitution was signed and sent to Congress. Though we don't celebrate it, the 17th was commemorated as Constitution Day. Let's celebrate it by remembering our founding document.
If you need to refresh your memory on the Constitution, why not order a copy from the Heritage Foundation? Go to the link on this blog or www.heritage.org In the top right tool bar is a link to their book store where you can order a Pocket Constitution. While you're there check ourtMatthew Spaulding's book, The Founders' Almanac. Sign up for their Morning Bell email. I have been a subscriber for years and find the content superior to just about everything else I read.
And, after you re-read the Constitution, you may want to send it to your representative in Congress. Perhaps he/she needs to refresh their memory, too.
If a nation expects to be ignorant and free in a state of civilization, it expects what never was and never will be. Thomas Jefferson
